As a performer, you agree

• That you are aged 16 or over.
• That all material you post on Noostar will be your original material.
• That you will not post obscene, racist or offensive material.
• That you will abide by the rules of the site and each chart or competition you take part in.
• That Noostar may remove your material if you are in breach of these rules.
• That Noostar may use your name and the material you have posted for promotional purposes.
• That you grant Noostar a royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide licence to copy, sub-licence and display all material you post on the site for all of Noostar's business purposes (including without limitation use on the site www.noostar.com and in the promotion of Noostar in all media). Noostar will not license your material to any third party for any other purpose in exchange for a fee for your material without your agreement (including a share of that fee to be payable to you).
• Nothing in this agreement will restrict Noostar from licensing the site www.noostar.com or a substantial part of it and the material on it (including your material) to third parties for online use.

Noostar agrees

• While you are registered, and while you abide by these terms and conditions, to enter you in the weekly chart.
• To give you due credit in any uses of your material.

At Noostar we look after your details carefully. We adhere strictly to the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act 1998 and we're also registered on the public register of data controllers which is looked after by the Information Commissioner. This policy describes how Noostar collects, uses and looks after the information you provide to each of us when you use our online services and when we provide you with our products and services. Please take a moment to read our Privacy Policy so you know what choices you have about the information we may ask you for. This policy may change from time to time so it's a good idea to come back and read through it again, from time to time.

Privacy Policy

Noostar is committed to maintaining customer privacy and maintaining the security of the limited amount of personal data which you submit to the site.

Noostar is committed to responsible data management and subscribes to the principles of data protection legislation in England and the wider United Kingdom.

Noostar Limited collects personal information to enable site users to take advantage of the following personalisation features on the Noostar website:

• Submitting comments
• Opting to receive an email newsletter
• Voting and related features
• and in the case of performers ...
• Uploading videos and other media

All these features require the creation of a unique identifier for each user. We therefore ask users who wish to take advantage of these features to register with us first. Since a valid email address is by definition unique, we use this to create the identifier for registered users. Email addresses will be checked for validity as part of the registration process. At no point will a registered user's email address displayed on the site or made available to other users.

Noostar Limited may also ask registering users to provide a password with which to access their personalised site features.

Noostar Limited may request additional information for demographic purposes including, but not limited to, date of birth and postcode. This data will never be displayed on the site or made available to third parties.

In the case of performers, Noostar may request additional contact details including phone numbers. This data will be used for internal administration purposes and will never be displayed on the site or made available to third parties.

During registration, users will be able decide whether they wish to receive an email newsletter and/or notification of events and services provided.

All e-mail communications from us will contain an option to unsubscribe.

Your personal information will not be supplied to any other organisations without your express consent.

Cookies (small nuggets of information that a site plants in your browser) are used when entering the Noostar site to help manage each user's session (that is, their visit to the Noostar site). Information recorded in the cookie may include the location from where each visitor arrived and any details needed to provide the personalisation features described above.

Each web page access is recorded in a log file. The contents of the log file are analysed on a regular basis to determine how many visitors the site serves, what pages they look at most, and from where they connect. This information is aggregated and cannot be resolved down to the level of an individual user.

Additionally, Noostar may use a third party web log analysis service in which case that service may also use a cookie to track usage of the site. Noostar currently uses Google Analytics whose privacy policy can be found at the web page address below.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect that most such changes will be minor.

Competitions

The following terms and conditions apply to all Noostar promotional competitions.

• One winner will be picked at random from all correct entries.
• Prizes are non returnable and non exchangeable.
• Travel and accommodation are not included in any prize package unless expressly stated.
